Data – especially open data - apps, smart city tech and the region’s other great technological skills  are powerful tools for social, economic and environmental innovation in their own right but also vital tools for developing governance in towns, cities and counties. SPC will launch a major programme of work in early 2015 with a major lecture staged in partnership with Ordnance Survey focused on ‘open data’.

 

Working with Professor Sir Nigel Shadbolt and the Open Data Institute, we are reaching out to new partners in this vital field.
